This is my photo archive dedicated to my favorite cameras and my beloved grandfather.
My grandfather was an amateur photographer. He began shooting in 1940's during his stay in China. In those days, his camera was a dry plate type. After the war, he continued shooting with his film cameras including asahi (pentax) SLR, rollei TLR and others. In his last days, he enjoyed digital cameras a lot. He never used computers, but he loved viewing his pictures by connecting digital cameras with his TV set. He enjoyed a photo printer also.
But I went backwards. I began shooting with my digital cameras. From digital to analog. I enjoy touch of analog taste. More I use digital, more I love analog. Old school - this is more I like it. As is often said, digital cameras are easy to handle and cost effective. No development, no printing necessary. This great features of digital cameras make me pay less attention to "shooting" itself. This is why I still use film cameras.
Enjoy my photos*.
